  Mortified, absolutely Mortified. The family and I(3 kids ages, 9, 7 and 5) were in Westhampton today. We went in to use the bathroom and we figured that we would probably buy an ice coffee on the way out. There no large visible signs that read no public restrooms There was nobody behind the counter when we walked in either. My kids went to the bathroom and I waited outside the bathroom. A older, white haired man who I presume is the owner looks at me with an attitude and asks if I am being helped and you can just tell he had a chip on his shoulder. I told him I was waiting for my family.
  
  We walk out, and the man storms out telling me I owe him $3 to use the bathroom. I said you have you be kidding. He was so adamant about the $3.
  
  This must be the owner, as an employee probably would not care enough to do this. He said you did not ask to use the bathroom. But there was nobody at the counter at the time. We did give him the $3, because we figured we would just get the ice coffee, but I just gave him the $3 since he was so hard up about it and I did not want anything made by this man.
  
  I understand that people do not pay the rent and own a business as a way to provide free bathrooms, but being a decent human being isn't such a hard thing to do especially when there are three little kids. I have had a business for over 16 years, right next to a bus stop, and sometimes people come in to use the bathroom. As long as they do not appear to be a threat, or under the influence, we let them use it because it is not that hard to be a decent human being.
  
  This man is obviously the owner. He is an angry, bitter man. For an upscale town, this place is a disgrace, as other reviews have pointed out.
